First 'Night Lab'

Yesterday was the first 'night lab' for CYBER'05. I went to Thiruparankundram Kovil and had a dinner. While I was returning from temple I saw Prabhakaran and he told me that night lab was cancelled. But I had a hope that it will not be true and then regarding CYBER'05 all the works are in full swing. Souvenier was completed and burning process was yet to start. Multimedia was going smooth. It was really wonderful to be in the night lab. When the burning process was started, senior vasanth and I went to hostel and brought the CD. After this we had a small fun. i.e we had some good talk with seniors stylesen and saravanan. It was wonderful to be there. Again after an hour selva and me went to hostel to get pouch and extra CD's. After completing this task I started to blog. At around 4.00 A.M we started to burn CD's for souvenier. Though the burning process was not completed I went to home at around 6.00 A.M. It was the nice experience to be in night lab.

FStival'05

September 10,2005. Software Freedom Day was celebrated across the world. In Madurai we celebrated Software Freedom Day on behalf of GLUGOT and GLUG-Madurai at Thiagarajar College of Engineering. Joe and Balamurugan came here to attend the meeting. The Chief Guest was Dr.Murali from AUKBC research center. MOC was done by Praveen. Chief guest was introduced by Sriram. Welcome speech was given by Senthil Jr and GLUGOT activities was explained by Senthil Kumaran Sr. In the morning session he gave presentation on Free Open Source Software. And at last I gave the vote of thanks. In that speech without turning on the mike I started to read. And then only I realised that mike was not turned on. After this I turned on the mike.

After the presentation demo was conducted. Most of the stalls were handled by juniors and GTK Glade and LAMP was conducted by 3rd years and Senthil and I handled GTK Glade.
And the important matter is appearance of Joe and Balamurugan was different. In the afternoon session there was a formal TCENet meeting. After this meeting we had a break at Annan kadai and at evening we went to Madura Park-Inn and had a great dinner. So the whole day was enjoyable.
