GHAJINI

A much awaited film Ghajini released this weekend. I decided to go it on fourth day.Without waiting in the queue, I bought a ticket before an hour and exactly at 1 P.M.the film started. There are three heroes in this movie. Surya, director A.R.Murugadoss and the music director Harris Jayaraj. It was the astonishing performance of Surya. As Sanjay Ramasamy surya was good. He did well as the patient who suffers from short term memory loss. Asin looked to be cute in this film too. Love scenes between surya and asin are funny and interesting. Songs were already hit even before the release of the film. Particularly 'Suttum vizhi sudare' and 'Oru malai illaveil neram' song was woderful. Nayanthara did justice to her role. The new villain also did well. So this film promised to be hit of this season.

CYBER'05

Finally the much awaited technichal extravaganza CYBER'05 - A National level Technichal Symposium in TCE conducted by the association of CSE , arrived with better innovations. Response to this CYBER'05 was good. This year we decided to focus on Computer Networks and Related Protocols and our caption was THE "NET"WORKS!!!. CYBER'05 consist of 12 contests including Online Programming Contest, Paper presentation, Software presentation, Multimedia presentation, Quiz, Web search, Cryptanalysis, C-bugging, Web-Design contest, Java Debugging contest, Science Fiction, Maze. The Chief guest was Mrs.Vijayalakshmi . Her speech was wonderful. Each and every contest was conducted smoothly and large number of candidates participated in events. All the committees did their job well. This CYBER'05 created a revolution by releasing souvenir in CD format. All the decoration was really very nice. Particularly Kolam and the "CYBER'05" made up of CD's and floppies were wonderful. Finally it came to the end through valedictory. After the valedictory,cultural began. It showed some excellent performance of our students. When culturals came to the end the photo session started. It was the wonderful event.

First 'Night Lab'

Yesterday was the first 'night lab' for CYBER'05. I went to Thiruparankundram Kovil and had a dinner. While I was returning from temple I saw Prabhakaran and he told me that night lab was cancelled. But I had a hope that it will not be true and then regarding CYBER'05 all the works are in full swing. Souvenier was completed and burning process was yet to start. Multimedia was going smooth. It was really wonderful to be in the night lab. When the burning process was started, senior vasanth and I went to hostel and brought the CD. After this we had a small fun. i.e we had some good talk with seniors stylesen and saravanan. It was wonderful to be there. Again after an hour selva and me went to hostel to get pouch and extra CD's. After completing this task I started to blog. At around 4.00 A.M we started to burn CD's for souvenier. Though the burning process was not completed I went to home at around 6.00 A.M. It was the nice experience to be in night lab.

FStival'05

September 10,2005. Software Freedom Day was celebrated across the world. In Madurai we celebrated Software Freedom Day on behalf of GLUGOT and GLUG-Madurai at Thiagarajar College of Engineering. Joe and Balamurugan came here to attend the meeting. The Chief Guest was Dr.Murali from AUKBC research center. MOC was done by Praveen. Chief guest was introduced by Sriram. Welcome speech was given by Senthil Jr and GLUGOT activities was explained by Senthil Kumaran Sr. In the morning session he gave presentation on Free Open Source Software. And at last I gave the vote of thanks. In that speech without turning on the mike I started to read. And then only I realised that mike was not turned on. After this I turned on the mike.

After the presentation demo was conducted. Most of the stalls were handled by juniors and GTK Glade and LAMP was conducted by 3rd years and Senthil and I handled GTK Glade.
And the important matter is appearance of Joe and Balamurugan was different. In the afternoon session there was a formal TCENet meeting. After this meeting we had a break at Annan kadai and at evening we went to Madura Park-Inn and had a great dinner. So the whole day was enjoyable.

Thursday Evening,

It is always pleasent to get wetted in the rain. I got that nice experience on this day. Normally we will be departing from the lab at 6.30 P.M. That day also we departed at around 6.30. P.M. At that time rain was lashing the whole city. So we decided to go inspite of the heavy raining. Rain was in full swing and it was really good. We got wet within a minute and got shivered after the time passed on. Luckily we got the bus quickly and got the seat. Finnally with a wet dress and enthusiatic mind I went to home.....

The terrible accident I met.......

It was July 1,2004 when I met with the terrible accident. I was returning from college. When I got the bus to my home,I got into the bus. But quite unexpected incident happened.When I got into the bus my bag slipped to the ground. When I realised that my bag has fallen down, I stepped out of the bus. Unfortunately the bus got started at that time. Without expecting such developments, I slipped to the ground. Just to protect myself I laid my palm to the ground. My hand almost got fractured. Because of that incident I had the bandage with plaster of paris for exactly four weeks. At last July 28 I removed the bandage. Only after that accident I understood the importance of the hand. That four weeks were really boring one. I could not sleep sound. When I removed the bandage, I felt very much relieved. The terrible accident I met happened exactly one year back. But till now I had the memory of each movements. I never forget it till the end of my life.

Final Years Treat

At last final years gave the treat in college canteen. It was the birthday of SAP Anna. That day final year Annas gave the treat i.e they shared the expense. The treat was shared by SAP, Bams, Tabara ,Manibalan. Almost all students who work in PP Lab attended the treat. It was the nice treat. Even though nearly 15 members attended the treat only 3 people ate well. They are Subramani,Senthil Kumaran(Junior) and I. I was very hungry on that day since it got delay to go to canteen around 2.30 P.M. We came out around 4 P.M. It was the wonderful seniors treat. Finally all is well that ends well.

4th Sem IV

This was the day when we started our journey for IV. The time planned was 8 P.M. But we departured only at 11 P.M. The time grew.When it was 5.30 A.M the bus which carries 'A' Section members met with an accident near dharmapuri. It is not because of bus driver but of van driver. What was surprising is they made their best effort to make it an business. After full 5 hours they got succeded. Because of this time delay many students get frustrated. We reached Bangalore only on that evening.By actual plan we should be in Bangalore for two full days. But we were in Bangalore for just 1 day.Coming to conclusion is it was the memorable experience.

db2 Certification!!

It was Sunny Sunday. IBM conducted db2 Online examination on db2 type database. Morning first batch I went inside. I was little bit nervous. Because I didn't study much.I spent only some hours on it.That too because of my friend Prabhakaran who came to my house and made night study. I studied only that night. Finally I completed my exams in 1 hr and I grew more nervous when I clicked for submit my answers. I got surprised to see that I have passed that exam with 71%. I know that mere certificate will not work. I have to work on it.It was the memorable day.

Joining Orkut!

This was the day I heard about Orkut.Orkut is a organisation where you can add friends , create new friends and identify old friends. It also has community section where I can select companies as per my interest.I say thanks to my friend Subramani who had sent invitation for joining the Orkut.

Marathon Race!!

Morning 4 A.M I get up from the bed to get ready for marathon. Marathon started at 6 A.M.That day was unforgettable day because it was the first time that I ran for almost 8 km without any break.Though It was very difficult for me to run for long distance without any practice, i completed the race.The main aim of marathon is to prevent natural disasters and to make people not to be scared of it . All section of people gave warm welcome to runners. It was not the matter that what was my place in marathon.The matter is completion of the race. I have completed it in satisfactory manner.
